South African entrepreneur Collen Mashawana has made good on his vow to build a woman a new house.
The businessman visited Tebogo Makwala a few weeks ago and was touched by her living conditions.
On Saturday, August 24, the kind man gifted the 26-year-old with keys to her new house Collen Mashawana is without a doubt one of South Africa’s kindest businessmen.
The Afribiz founder has gifted several South Africans with new homes, including a 101-year-old man who waited decades for a decent residence.
Now, the entrepreneur extended his kindness yet again and built a beautiful bungalow for a 26-year-old lady who lived in a dilapidated shack.
According to Briefly.co.za, Collen had initially promised to build Tebogo Makwala a home after the sight of her living condition broke his heart.
The lady was dubbed as the poorest person in her community as she had no access to a toilet or source of water. In a sweet Facebook post, the selfless chap narrated how he gave 26-year-old Tebogo the surprise of a lifetime.
“She suffered severe burns at two-years-old that has left her disabled. Tebogo has been living alone in an unsafe structure in Shikwambane Village for many years. We visited her a few weeks ago and witnessed her inhuman living conditions in the one-room dwelling with no electricity, no water and no access to the toilet,” Collen said.
The new stand-alone home is a captivating two-bedroom house with a lounge, kitchen, and toilet. To top it all, Collen made sure the house was insured. “We promised we would come back and on that day we would be opening doors of a new home. Today is that day. We donated a two-bedroom house, with a lounge, kitchen, and toilet.
The house comes with free house insurance cover for both the house and its contents. I wish her all the best and may God continue to protect and bless her,” he wrote.
